Who is responsible for your personal data?

Grandab Management AB, org.nr. 556819-7221, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that such processing is carried out legally.

How does Grandab obtain your personal data?

Grandab stores personal data that you provide to us when you rent an apartment, commercial space, or parking, or when you act as a contact person for a company. When signing a contract, the processing of personal data is approved.

Grandab also stores personal data if you apply for a job with us, when you or your company contact us to find an available space, or when you otherwise utilize Grandab's various services.

What personal data is processed?

Grandab processes the personal data that is provided to us and/or collected by us. This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, address details, birth dates, personal identification numbers, bank details, CVs, cover letters, and/or other information you have provided to Grandab or that is otherwise necessary for Grandab to fulfill its obligations and services towards you.

Your personal data may be processed by Grandab for the following purposes:

  • To contact you

  • To fulfill our commitments in accordance with the services you use from Grandab and our other services towards you

  • To enable good service to you by, for example, answering questions you ask us

  • To send relevant information and offers about Grandab's various services and arrangements as a landlord to you as a customer

  • To use as the basis for rent invoicing

  • To handle potential payment defaults

  • To comply with applicable legislation such as the Accounting Act

  • For internal identification such as contract number, customer number

  • To manage and administer job applications

When does Grandab have the right to process your personal data?

Grandab has the right to process the personal data required for fulfilling Grandab's obligations to you, if you have given consent to the processing or if the processing is deemed to occur in accordance with a legitimate interest for Grandab, as mentioned above. Grandab may also need to process your personal data due to requirements in law or regulation.

What rights do you have?

You have the right to request information about what personal data Grandab has stored about you (registry extract) at any time (free of charge once a year). Your request must be in writing and personally signed, and it must include your name and personal identification number.

If your personal data is incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, you can request that it be corrected. You also have the right to have your personal data deleted. However, Grandab cannot delete your personal data if there is a statutory requirement for storage, such as accounting rules, or when there are other legitimate reasons for why the personal data must be retained.

Requests for registry extracts, information, correction of incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant personal data, and deletion of personal data should be sent to Grandab Management AB, Norra Hamngatan 4, 411 14 Gothenburg.

You also have the right, where applicable, to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority for the processing of personal data (in Sweden, the Data Inspection Authority/Privacy Protection Authority).

Who has access to your personal data?

Your personal data is used by Grandab and, where applicable, by the partners that Grandab collaborates with to fulfill obligations towards Grandab's customers. Grandab does not disclose personal data to other companies or authorities unless Grandab is required to do so by law, regulation, or governmental decision, or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties, or if the disclosure to a third party is part of our commitments to you.

Grandab never forwards or sells your personal data for marketing purposes to third parties.

How long does Grandab retain your personal data?

Grandab retains your personal data only as long as it is necessary for Grandab to fulfill the purpose of processing in each individual case.

How is your personal data protected?

Grandab continuously works to take all appropriate technical and organizational measures that are required in each individual case to protect your personal data and to otherwise ensure that processing is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation.

Transfer to third countries

Grandab does not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA unless this has been specifically stated in connection with you providing your personal data to us.

Grandab makes ongoing changes to this privacy policy. A new version becomes effective when it is made available on our website www.grandab.com
